For the first time in France, banks were asked by the government to inform their clients about the annual fees they pay. Most of the people were stupefied. It was an opportunity for ING to promote the feeless checking account they were about to launch. We created a tool called “Le Doulouromètre” that measures the pain you feel when you receive your annual fees statement.

2) Then set your sound up and click here to launch the pop up website
3) Enter an amount, e.g.: 150 € (or any other amount and play around if you’d like to hear what happens)

4) Scroll down to read the translation.

While awaiting the arrival of the ING checking account, check out your pain level.

Click here and decide if you want to stop the fees.”

Pop-up website:

“The “Painmeter”, the tool that measures the intensity of your bank fees.

Enter below the amount you found on your annual fees report and you will discover your pain level.

(Based on the value of the fees, the “Painmeter” produces a sound of suffering, ranging from cry to scream.)

And if you want to stop the fees, you will be the first one to be informed of the new feeless checking account Le Compte.”
