Content Marketing for Shutterstock
Shutterstock Headquarters, New York City
Content marketing in French-speaking countries
Shutterstock is a global image and sound provider for the creative community all over the world. I worked from the New York headquarters, located in the Empire State Building, to create and localize content and communications in French-speaking countries, such as France, Belgium, Switzerland and Morocco.
Blog management
Among many other responsibilities, I created the French language blog and managed the brand content on social media to engage creative professionals, such as graphic designers, art directors, photographers, illustrators, filmmakers, and artists.
See below some posts I wrote for the French blog.
Twitter sponsored campaign
This campaign’s primary goal was broadening the reach of our viral tweets by increasing the number of followers. The second goal was developing brand awareness, with messages to businesses, marketing agencies, and media organizations in France highlighting the extent of Shutterstock’s inventory. We created three tweets with two different images for each one so we could conduct A/B testing. We increased the number of followers by 400 percent in the first month.
Shutterstock Twitter feed
Twitter is a crucial platform in Shutterstock’s social media mix. The goal of this platform is stimulating the audience’s curiosity and maintaining a friendly relationship. Employing a systematic use of images, we look forward to establishing the company’s brand within its Twitter community.
Facebook timeline
Facebook essentially is used to promote our daily posts on the French blog. This allows us to increase the number of views on the blog in addition to those from Twitter.
